Eva was born in Hong Kong, graduated with an LL.B. in England, and was called to the Manitoba bar in 1993. Eva is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. Eva’s law practice (Luk Law) and trading company (Risun Connexions Inc.) focus on immigration, commercial transactions, business acquisitions and international trade. Luk Law is an agent of Red River College with respect to the recruitment of international students.  She is currently working closely with Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives to bring China’s and Asia’s largest beef packing plant to set up shop in Manitoba.  She has developed the trust and connections necessary to act as a conduit between Canadian and Asian entrepreneurs. Eva has conducted numerous seminars overseas, recruiting and screening for skilled and semi-skilled workers in Asia.
